Sending an Invite to Disney

I had heard that you could send invites to special events to certain 'special' people and get something back in return.
I was told you can send invites for (but not limited to these): birth announcements, birthday, wedding, anniversary, etc.

So I decided to test this out for Andrew's 1st birthday. What a cool thing for the baby book!!

So we sent one to each Disney location. I've been told to C/O Mickey and Minnie. However, for two of them I decided to test this out with his favorite character Simba from The Lion King and then Woody & Buzz from Toy Story (so we'll see what happens)

We sent the three invites out on October 22, 2012

I received one back from Mickey & Pals on November 3, 2012

I'm not sure if they have a limit or not. I ended up sending out 15 of them and didn't have to pay anything.
